Here are a list of books you will need in Year 1. You DO NOT need all of them, they are just a guideline. Also don't be in a rush to buy books right away. You can wait about a week or so if needed. At the bottom I listed the books I personally recommend.
On orientation day, the bookstore offers a "Year 1" set which is also a good idea. They charged me 8000 rupees for about 13 books (as of 2018)
*Note: before buying books always open it up to make sure it is the right version, not missing any pages, and good print. This is Pakistan, don't trust the cover or the seller, ever.
Anatomy
Board Review Series (BRS) are quick review books that go straight to the point. Good for review and quick learning.

My Recommended Book List Year 1:

- Histology - Laiq Hussain
- Physiology - Guyton (amazing - used worldwide), BRS Physio
- Pharmacology - No book for first year
- Pathology - Pathoma is more than enough (Robbins is a FAT book, too detailed in my opinion)
